In full costume now we see how really blessed trinidad is… There is no other event like Trinidad Carnival.

Saturday, February 20th, 2010Seems every year we take longer to recover from Jouvert. Always laid back, Carnival Monday 2010 began the warm up for the biggest two day jump up party found anywhere in the world. Some of the bands I met for the day included Tribe, Harts, Trini Revelers, Ronnie and Caro, Pulse 8 and Island Mas to name a few.

Friday, February 19th, 2010Triniposse together with Zen nightclub came together for their annual carnival mega-bashment. Palancing was the order of the night.
Trinidad Carnival 2010, Tribe Ignite Fete
Friday, February 19th, 2010Tribe Ignite Fete at Jenny’s on the Boulevard on Carnival Thursday. It was quite apparent that the women outnumbered the men at this fete, much to the delight of the male contingent. Appearances were made on stage by Bunji, Faye Ann and others and we even managed to spot Kes and Karma in the jam session.

Jouvert mornign from 4am, trapsing through the back roads of Chaguanas with the biggest Jouvert band from this city, no suprise they went on to win Jouvert band of the year from Chaugunas once again. See you next year guys!!!!
